How do you measure up?

Sizing up the Competition

In the latest study of 15,521 men published in the British Journal of Urology researchers measured flaccid and erect penile size measurements to determine the “normal” size of man’s penis and help you answer the question “Am I normal?”

The study found that the average length of the penis is 3.61 inches flaccid, 5.17 inches erect and the circumferences 3.67 inches flaccid and 4.59 inches erect. In the previous study, conducted by the University of California, similar results were reported with the average length of the penis of 3.56 inches flaccid and 4.88 inches erect. That study concluded that neither patient’s age nor size of the flaccid penis accurately predicted erectile length.

Other interesting conclusions included lack of correlation between penis size and other parts of the body, such as fingers, feet, and weight. One correlation did withstand the test – a link between the height and penis length. Furthermore, the study did not find any link between man’s ethnicity and the penis size.
